Following this, the sixth seal unleashes severe cosmic upheaval, including a blackened sun, a blood-red moon, and a vanishing sky, driving people of all earthly statuses to hide in terror from the wrath of the Lamb. These intense themes of suffering and judgment are grounded in the apostle Paul's desire to know the fellowship of Christ's sufferings, highlighting that Jesus himself endured the full spectrum of human and demonic evil—such as betrayal, injustice, racism, and corrupt institutions—during his crucifixion.
